Este lunes 1 de diciembre, de 19:00–20:00 (Malta) / 13:00–14:00 (Colombia), abrimos oficialmente la exhibición artística online de la 18ª Conferencia Internacional de Narrativas Digitales Interactivas — ICIDS 2025 con una transmisión en vivo.
Como curadores, es un honor presentarles las obras seleccionadas que orbitan nuestro tema curatorial:
“Máquinas caleidoscópicas en una era de entrelazamientos acelerados”
Un espacio para obras que exploran nuevas formas de narrar desde la intersección entre narrativas digitales interactivas, artes con nuevos medios, IA generativa, agencias más-que-humanas y materialidades planetarias.

This Monday, December 1st, from 19:00–20:00 (Malta) / 13:00–14:00 (Colombia), we officially open the online art exhibition of the 18th International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling — ICIDS 2025 with a live broadcast.
As exhibition chairs, it is an honor to share the selected works orbiting our curatorial theme:
“Kaleidoscopic Machines in an Era of Accelerated Entanglements”
A space for works exploring new storytelling modes at the intersection of interactive digital narratives, new media arts, generative AI, more-than-human agencies, and planetary materialities.

¡¡¡Qué maravilla todo lo que está ocurriendo en Malta!!!
Como curadores de la Exhibición Artística “Kaleidoscopic Machines in an Era of Accelerated Entanglements” de la 18ª edición del @icids_conference , celebramos la apertura online del lunes —un éxito total— y la inauguración on site de ayer en la Malta Chamber of Commerce, Valletta–Europa, con excelentes comentarios de participantes de todo el mundo.
Brindamos por este trabajo colectivo, por las 25 obras que curamos y por l_s artistas que nos abrieron sus mundos.
Agradecemos al equipo organizador de ICIDS 2025 —especialmente a @xehreyes, por su invitación y gran trabajo—, al jurado internacional y a la comunidad global que hace posible esta constelación de historias y experiencias.
Que las historias sigan reflejándose, refractándose y recombinándose; y que estos entrelazamientos acelerados entre lo humano, lo más-que-humano y lo no-humano continúen expandiendo nuestras formas de narrar(nos) y co-crear mundos.

What a marvel what is happening in Malta!
As curators of the Art Exhibition “Kaleidoscopic Machines in an Era of Accelerated Entanglements” at the 18th edition of ICIDS, we celebrate the online opening on Monday —a total success— and yesterday’s on-site inauguration at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Valletta–Europe, with excellent feedback from participants worldwide.
We toast this collective effort, the 25 works we curated, and the artists who opened their worlds to us.
Thanks to the ICIDS 2025 team —especially María C., for her invitation and outstanding work—, the international jury, and the global community that makes this constellation of stories and experiences possible.
May stories continue to reflect, refract, and recombine; and may these accelerated entanglements between human, more-than-human, and non-human keep expanding our ways of storytelling and co-creating worlds.
